This is all it will do.
The door lock light is blinking on my front load maytag maxima.
The lid lock light will flash if lid lock has not moved into the lock position the lock motor can not be powered or the lid is not closed completely due to interference.
Pausing the wash cycle is how it can be disabled.
The door should unlock after 60 seconds.
First it had a code blinking that i looked up and it was for the water so i turned it on and now it is making a humming noise and the door is locked and that is all it will do.
So the first thing you ll want to do is just unplug the washer for 60 seconds and see if the latch will reset.
