Located 600 feet from the world famous old golf course mcintosh hall benefits from a central location in st andrews. A floor was refurbished in. Mcintosh is a catered hall and is renowned for the quality of its food. Free wifi access is available throughout the property.

The student committee is active and accessible and arranges a variety of student led social events throughout the year including hall quizzes sports events beach games and more. Other facilities offered at the property include a vending machine. Due to the fact that mcintosh used to be several different buildings with different floor plans a floor is shorter than any other floor and has rumours of being haunted. A floor is a girls floor and is the top floor of the building.

One of the stunning features of this floor plan is the grand kitchen and great room with a vaulted ceiling. Each room at mcintosh hall features a desk study chair handbasin and tea coffee making facilities. This comfortable open concept plan is perfect for a big family or lots of entertainment area for guests. In addition to the dining room each floor also has its own kitchen.

Mcintosh hall opened in 1956 as an all male residence for 100 students. Mcintosh has lounge areas on the second and third floors equipped with a kitchenette and furniture. It was the last remaining all male residence hall on campus until 1998 when it went coed by floor. Mcintosh is located in a cluster of residence halls near the kirkland glen on the south side of campus.

It includes single and double rooms as well as a two bedroom single sex or coed apartment for four students. Mcintosh hall is a small friendly and welcoming hall with a strong community spirit.
